A sludge dryer is a specialized machine used in Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) to reduce the moisture content of sludge from around 85% to as low as 15% or less. By removing excess water, it significantly lowers transportation and disposal costs, improves handling, and enables the dried sludge to be used for incineration in existing boilers—often resulting in zero disposal cost.

Dryers can be used in a wide range of industries such as Food Processing Industries, Textile Industries, Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industries, Paper & Pulp Industries, and Municipal STP Facilities.
